The primary use for Coral Snow is as a facilitator for many of the other elements as part of the ZEOvit method. When mixed with B-Balance, Ammino Acids, Sponge Power, Coral Vitalizer, or any of the additives for that matter, the results are generally better. The various parts of coral snow allow corals to quickly assimilate the contents, maximising the effects of the other additives and supplements. We have found the effects to be great with this additive. We were dosing B-Balance with what appeared to be little effect, until we started mixing it with Coral Snow. We found the uptake to be so much better, and as a result needed less of the other elements to obtain the same result!

A supplementary benefit of Coral Snow is that it reduces yellowing compounds in the water and has also been seen to work effectively against troublesome algae outbreaks

We dose Coral Snow every day, usually mixing it with one of the other elements. We use 2ml per 100 litres of system water per day, and mix in the additive for around 5 minutes before applying to the tank. The water will turn cloudy after adding the mixture, but this is perfectly normal and does not harm corals or fish.
