The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions that take place on this website. The use of this site indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. The placement of an order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully and print a copy for future reference.

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. To order goods through this website you must be at least 18 years of age and accept delivery within the UK. We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions.

This Contract will be governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from, or related to, this Contract shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Price Matching

We offer a price promise or price match on selected products. Please use the contact us section to request a price match stating your details and the exact web address where the price has been found cheaper. We will then verify this information and confirm or otherwise that we will match or better the price. This price match does not apply to postal charges.

Accuracy of Product Information

All product specifications, images and other information published on our website have either been made accessible by suppliers, manufacturers, publications, publicists, or been gathered from public-domain sources. We endeavour to have all information on the website to be as accurate and up to date as possible. However, we cannot guarantee the reliability or the accuracy of the information contained within its pages. All the actions taken by the user of the website are the responsibility of the individual.

Payment and Pricing

The total price payable for the goods will be stipulated at the time when you place your order whether or not the order has been confirmed. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in our suppliers prices, or the imposition of any taxes or duties, or if due to an error or omission the price published for the goods is wrong whether or not the order has been confirmed. We will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to cancel the order. As previously stated should the price change or be incorrect the contract is void and must be restarted by you the consumer. All prices on our website are inclusive of VAT but exclusive of delivery charges which will be payable as indicated at the time of placing your order.

Typographical Errors

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information from our suppliers, taxes or duty changes, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders listed at the incorrect price whether or not the order has been confirmed. If your credit card has already been charged and we subsequently cancel your order, we will immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the value of the incorrect price (including delivery charges).

Payment Methods

We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard and Switch. On the order you must provide us with your exact billing address and telephone number - the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you. Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order. Your order will only be processed once authorisation of your credit card has been properly received.

Ocean Kingdom Limited does not hold information relating to the credit/debit card used to make purchases through our web site. Availability of Goods

All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. We endeavour to keep live and up-to-date stock information on all products on our website. If we do not supply the goods for any reason we will not charge you for these and we will refund any money already paid for them. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods.

Delivery Charges

All prices on our website are exclusive of delivery charges which will be added to the price of the products at our checkout. Delivery prices quoted are for most UK Mainland addresses. Northern Ireland (BT), Isle of Man (IM), ScottishHighlands and Orkney Isles (PA, ML, EH, KA, G, KY, PH, DD, AB, IV, KW), Outer Hebrides and the Shetland Isles (HS, ZE) will incur additional charges (e-mail us for a quotation) and may also experience delivery delays. In the event of a consignment failing delivery due to the customer not being at home or has failed to collect consignment from courier depot the item will be returned to the sender, Ocean Kingdom Limited at the expense of the ourselves. To retrieve items ordered the customer will have to pay the return postage as well as the cost of the shipment being returned to us.

Items weighing over 30kg in total may incur additional delivery charges. Orders for outside the mainland UK are subject to additional charges on weight. This will be notified to you, the customer, should this arise. You will be notified of this eventuality via email or by telephone.

Next day delivery is actually the next working day delivery and does not include Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays. There can be a Saturday morning delivery arranged but this is at a premium delivery charge.

Delivery Times

For items in stock we aim to ship your order with 24 hours of funds clearing. Delivery times will depend on your selected shipment method at checkout. We will endeavour to deliver goods within the times stated but goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes outside our control. Any dates we specify for the delivery of the goods are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods. If our suppliers or we are temporarily out of stock, we will notify you of this position and you should allow up to 14 days for dispatch of the goods.

Product Guarantees

All products supplied are covered by the terms and conditions of the Manufacturers Guarantee for a period of 12 months (except perishable items such as fish food). Should the product develop a manufacturers fault within twelve months of your date of purchase your goods will be repaired by us. This guarantee specifically excludes faults caused by accident, neglect, and misuse. In addition routine maintenance. Should your product develop a fault within a first seven days of purchase you many return your goods for a full refund providing you return the unit in the same condition as supplied. This does not affect any statutory rights that you may have.

Cancellation of Orders

Returned Goods

If you are not totally satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days from date of delivery for credit or refund less any applicable restocking and delivery charges. It is your responsibility to return any such items in a pristine saleable condition in their original box and packaging. You will be wholly responsible for the return of the goods and any associated costs of return. Goods received back incomplete, damaged or in any condition other than saleable, will be returned to you and the cost of return carriage charged to your account. Prior to returning any products, please contact us at orders@oceankingdom.co.uk stating your original order number and return reasons within 7 days from the date of delivery. If you do not return goods within 7 days after you have informed us that you wish to cancel your order, your right to cancel will be revoked. The cancellation must be put into writing and received within the 7-day period. All Items will be subject to a restocking charge of up to 20%.

Other

You will own the goods once we have received your payment in full. We do not offer any credit facilities at present. We will issue you with an electronic invoice once we have dispatched the goods to you.

Failure by us to enforce any of these terms and conditions will not affect our right to enforce the rest of these terms and conditions.

These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without prior notice to you.

Privacy

We keep the details you provide confidential and will use them to administer your order which may also include checking your details with any credit reference agency and to other persons for credit vetting, fraud prevention or debt collection purposes. From time to time we may keep you informed of information about other products offered by us and services that may be of interest to you.

We do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
